Era una caratteristica “in previsione/optional”, dato che il Dune BD Prime non è altro che il Dune HD Base ma con un lettore BluRay sata, allora anche esso avrebbe dovuto avere la possibilità di leggere i BluRay commerciali. Proverò a sentire gli sviluppatori se hanno intenzione di terminare questo supporto.
Come puoi vedere anche dal sito ufficiale, le caratteristiche di Playback-Optional prevedono
* Blu-Ray structures (Profile 1.1/2.0)
* Files on Blu-Ray (BD-R, BD-RE)

Ma il supporto Dune Hdi a questo proposito avanza molti dubbi. Ecco cosa mi rispondono:It is potentially possible to connect an external USB or eSATA BD drive to Dune HD Base 2.0, and Dune may recognized and may be able to use the attached BD drive, but this is just a potential possibility which is not well supported: 1. We have no information about supported / correctly working BD drives. 2. Original Blu-ray discs WILL not play for sure (because of Blu-ray licensing / protection issues). 3. Backed burned Blu-ray discs may work or not work, depending on the exact Dune firmware version, the exact disc, and the exact BD drive model, we do not have currently info/statistics on this; if you want, you can check this on your own. 4. Da questa importante recensione (viene linkata anche dal sito di ecommerce o2media che distribuisce il Dune) sotto il titolo “Lettore DVD e Blu Ray Disc” pare certa la lettura di dischi blu ray (anche commerciali) da lettore USB o e-Sata esterno.
